Shera board is a non-asbestos fibre cement product composed of Portland cement, cellulose fibre and refined sand. It is a fibre cement board with high impact strength and moisture and fire resistant properties. It is mostly used for building board applications such as wall cladding, wall partitioning and decorative walling. It can be used for both interior and exterior applications. Shera Boards are weather resistant, immune to water damage, fire resistant, shatter resistant, and flexible and provides sound insulation. Shera Board Cladding is the utilization of one material over an alternate to give skin or layer proposed to control the penetration of climatic elements, or for aesthetic purposes. Cladding does not necessarily need to give a waterproof condition yet is rather a control component. Cladding obliges to securely direct water or wind to control run-off and block penetration into the building structure.
